Job summary

Young Automotive Group is seeking an experienced BDC Manager in our Service department in Ogden, Utah, to lead customer engagement operations and drive appointment growth. This role emphasizes coaching, accountability, and operation excellence within a fast-paced dealership environment.

The ideal leader will optimize communication strategies across phone, text, and email, oversee CRM-based performance, and collaborate with service leadership to improve workflows and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience managing automotive BDC or service departments.
• Proven ability to train and coach teams.
• Strong communication across phone, text, email, and in-person interactions.
• Background in improving appointment scheduling and customer retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily Service BDC operations to ensure strong team performance and an exceptional customer experience
• Train, coach, and develop BDC team members while maintaining accountability to performance goals
• Oversee inbound and outbound customer communication, including appointment scheduling through phone, text, and email channels
• Monitor department productivity, call quality, and customer interactions to improve efficiency and service retention
• Partner with service department leadership to align processes, improve workflow, and drive overall department success
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on customer satisfaction, growth, and continuous improvement
