Summa Health is seeking a Service Ambassador for a part-time role. You will create a positive first impression for patients and visitors and provide direct assistance at key access points across Summa hospitals.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year in customer service, with the ability to meet service excellence standards in a fast-paced health system setting. Salary ranges are posted with benefits included.

Creates a positive first impression for patients, families and visitors when they enter various key access points to any Summa hospital. Efficiently provides direct assistance to patients, families, etc. Interacts using a team-centered approach to a variety of support venues which may include, but not limited to: Volunteers, Central Transport, Valet, others.
High School diploma or equivalent
Able to demonstrate basic computer skills and possess the ability to maintain the ability to use various computer applications.
One (1) year experience in direct role in customer service.
Must be able to meet and exceed the Service Excellence Standards of Summa Health System.

Able to display consistent, compassionate communication for patients, families and visitors.
Able to identify patients/visitors who are in need of assistance
Possesses excellent customer service skills and demonstrate openly a willingness to serve the public.
Able to actively listen to patients/visitors with understanding, empathy and professionalism.
Must maintain accurate knowledge of the hospital layout and new building construction.
Maintains an optimal balance between exceptional customer service delivery and the strategic plans of the Patient Access Team and Summa Health System overall.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers.
