Hansel Subaru is looking for a full-time Service Advisor to join our team. You will play a key role in guiding customers through their service experience from start to finish, acting as the trusted link between customers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Dealership service writing experience required.
• Professional appearance and strong customer presence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to confidently recommend and sell service.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable and punctual with customer focus.
• Able to pass a drug test and criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and deliver premium check-in experience.
• Write and manage repair orders with complete, accurate documentation.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and ethically.
• Follow up on declined work to ensure safety and retention.
• Own the service lane flow: appointments, walk-ins, updates.
• Coordinate with warranty providers and keep guests informed.

As a Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers through their service experience from start to finish. You’ll serve as the trusted link between customers and our technicians, helping guests understand their vehicle needs while delivering an experience that feels supportive, informed, and efficient.

Pay Range

Depending on job performance, the Service Advisor compensation ranges from $38,500.00to$160,000 +.

Pay Defined: The Service Advisor position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.31, plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
