Job summary

RDO Truck Centers in Lincoln, NE seeks a detail-oriented individual to support the service department's operations. You will ensure accurate and timely posting of charges to work orders, process warranty and product improvement claims, and communicate with customers professionally.

The role may require some weekend and night shifts and involves maintaining files, updating customer profiles, and staying current on mechanical terminology and service procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty claims, including computation of charges, submission and follow-up.
• Maintain service department files and records.
• Update customer profiles using information from customer work orders.
• Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership’s area.
• Follow safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to policies and procedures as specified in manuals and handbook.
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of RDO Truck Centers.
• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills.
• Participate in all location communications, open book meetings, huddles and department meetings.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
