Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. is seeking a detail‑oriented individual to support the service department by ensuring accurate, on‑time reporting for work orders and warranty processing. You will post charges, close files timely, and communicate with customers professionally from Lincoln, NE.

Some weekends and night shifts may be required. You will maintain files, update customer profiles, and participate in training to build knowledge of our equipment and service processes.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills required.
• Knowledge of service process and procedures preferred.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Strong customer service skills desired.
• General understanding of mechanical/technical terms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle warranty claims, including computation of charges, submission and follow-up.
• Maintain service department files and records.
• Update customer profiles from customer work orders.
• Maintain knowledge on equipment sold within the dealership's area of responsibility.
• Follow safety rules and company policies as per manuals and handbook.
• Present a professional image of RDO Truck Centers to customers and community.
• Seek and participate in available company training to develop knowledge and skills.
• Participate in company/location communications such as huddles and department meetings.
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with peers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
