Job summary

Mac Haik Ford MS in Mississippi is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to their needs, and schedule service appointments. The role includes handling loaner cars and verifying insurance prior to maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in service department.
• Experience at a Ford dealership is a big plus.
• Ability to identify the problem quickly.
• Knowledge of automobiles.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.

• Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly in the lane.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently/daily.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
