Job summary

Boucher Automotive Group is hiring a Service Advisor to join a Ford dealership team. You will greet customers, collect vehicle details, and communicate symptoms and maintenance needs clearly. You will prepare accurate labor and parts cost estimates and schedule follow-ups while monitoring progress and updating customers throughout the day.

The role requires a proactive, energetic individual with automotive knowledge and a proven focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automobiles and repairs.
• Ability to identify the problem quickly.
• Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Past experience as a service advisor or related role.
• Positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and collect basic information.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information for the record.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage and history.
• Prepare a complete estimate of labor and parts costs.
• Establish follow-up time to update the customer on progress.
• Monitor progress of each vehicle and update customers regularly.
• Verify final invoice matches work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
