Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join our nationwide team serving hundreds of customers daily. You will bridge Service Technicians and customers, explain recommendations clearly, and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

In the service lane, you’ll schedule appointments, greet customers, and manage repair orders with transparent cost/time estimates while collaborating with technicians and parts staff. A strong customer focus and tech comfort are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and CSI targets.
• Greet customers on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information, walk-arounds and test drives.
• Use consultative selling for ongoing maintenance planning.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
