Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge communications between customers and service technicians. You will help customers plan for maintenance, explain recommendations clearly, and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

In this role you’ll greet customers, prepare service orders, and work with technicians to ensure timely completion. A strong customer focus and adaptability in a fast-paced service lane are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & customer satisfaction.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and walk-arounds.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up on vehicle status and customer preferences.
• Gain product knowledge to assist customers and drive loyalty.
