Community Honda of Lafayette is seeking a Service Advisor to serve as a bridge between service technicians and customers, helping identify vehicle issues and conveying repair needs accurately to technicians. The role includes greeting clients, scheduling service appointments, and estimating repair costs.

Responsibilities also cover coordinating test drives, inspections, and rental/loaner arrangements while maintaining excellent customer service in a busy dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Clear communication between customers and technicians to convey needs.
• Ability to understand questions and translate technician recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and directing them to the appropriate area
• Consulting with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives
• Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians
• Informing customers about potential cost and warranty
• Assisting customers with understanding important information about their vehicle
• Answering questions and concerns of customers calling in
• Informing customers of changes in service or when their vehicle is ready
• Placing customers in rental/loaner cars and filling out appropriate info
