AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor in Des Plaines, IL to bridge technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service department. You will explain repair recommendations clearly, spot upsell opportunities, and help ensure a safe, reliable vehicle for every customer.

You will set appointments, greet customers warmly, determine vehicle needs through walk-arounds, and prepare transparent estimates. This role emphasizes customer experience, teamwork with service staff, and ongoing product

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer experience skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers to ensure a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and determine vehicle needs from information and walk-arounds.
• Explain Service Technician recommendations in clear terms and identify upsell opportunities.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates and maintain transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion and follow-up with customers.
