Job summary

Kia of Round Rock is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team in Round Rock, TX. This on-site role will act as the liaison between customers and technicians, ensuring clear understanding of needed services and approvals while managing RO entry and warranty administration.

The ideal candidate has prior service-advisor experience, a polished demeanor, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers. Strong teamwork and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor/Service Writer experience.
• Polished and professional demeanor.
• Ability to communicate technical terms to a non-technical audience.
• Team player with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
