Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Service Advisor at our North Austin Kia dealership. You will initiate service requests, verify warranties, develop estimates, and write repair orders while maintaining clear records and serving as the customer- technician liaison.

Ideal candidates have prior service advisor experience or automotive technician background, strong customer service focus, and a valid driver’s license. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience preferred.
• Prior automotive technician experience is a plus.
• Team player with focus on exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services by identifying performance issues and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage and develop estimates.
• Write repair orders and maintain customer records.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician to ensure understanding of needs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor.
• Prepare and enter repair orders into the service database.
• Communicate additional service needs to customers based on inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Inform customers of service specials, times and expenses.
