Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to act as the primary liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring an exceptional experience from check-in to delivery.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, documenting vehicle conditions, preparing repair orders and estimates, and maintaining clear communication throughout the repair process. A strong customer service mindset and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in automotive service advisory and/or customer service preferred.
• Ability to document vehicle conditions and repair orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally to create a welcoming service experience.
• Answer calls and respond to inquiries in a friendly, timely manner.
• Identify service needs, listen to concerns, and propose solutions.
• Document concerns and vehicle conditions during walk-arounds.
• Prepare repair orders, estimates, and timelines; review inspection results with customers.
• Obtain authorization for repairs and communicate status updates throughout service.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure proper execution of orders.
• Process payments accurately and build long-term customer relationships.
