Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
• Proven experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the customer experience from start to finish—manage repair orders and set expectations.
• Serve as the link between the customer and the technician.
• Initiate service and repair orders based on concerns and vehicle performance.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Build accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, and deductibles.
• Communicate service needs clearly to customers and technicians.
• Keep customers informed on status, costs, and timelines.
• Administer manufacturer warranties for eligible repairs.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records.
• Promote current service specials and build long-term relationships.
