Job summary

Lithia Motors is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Wasilla service team. You will be the primary contact for service customers, guiding them through maintenance options while driving a great ownership experience.

You will respond to inquiries, price services, and secure approvals, coordinating technician work and delivering timely updates. A valid driver's license and basic automotive knowledge are required; open availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a service/advisor or in customer service.
• Prefer prior Service Advisor experience in a dealership.
• Experience helping customers and delivering an exceptional service experience.
• Ability to communicate with customers and service teams.
• Willingness to jump in where needed and follow through on promises.
• Basic automotive knowledge and comfort with dealership software.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers following procedures.
• Build positive relationships by identifying concerns and needs.
• Walk around the vehicle to evaluate service requirements and suggest maintenance.
• Communicate recommendations, costs, timelines, and completion dates.
• Secure approval for services and repairs; document work orders in ADP.
• Coordinate repair activities and dispatch work to technicians.
• Provide ongoing status updates and manage the customer delivery process.
• Process payments and deliver a seamless Sales-to-Service experience.
