Vertu Motors in Gloucester is recruiting a Service Advisor to join our busy dealership. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service and acting as the liaison between customers and the workshop, managing expectations and the service journey.

You will upsell products, maintain relationships during service or repair, and work in a fast-paced environment to meet targets. A customer-facing service background is essential, with training and benefits offered on progression.

We are offering a competitive basic salary up to £35,000 per annum plus company benefits depending on experience.

The Service Advisor role is one of the most exciting and important roles in our dealership. Like us, you know that customer service isn’t just about providing a service – its about building warm, trusted relationships. The role holder acts as the relationship manager between the customer and the workshop, ensuring our customer satisfaction levels are outstanding.

You will be responsible for setting customer expectations and keeping in touch with them throughout the service or repair of their vehicle, up selling additional products and follow-up with the customer to ensure they are happy with the work carried out.

For this role, we are looking for you to have a previous customer facing service experience; this is essential for you to be considered. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of paramount importance, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst meeting targets and deadlines.

Previous experience within the role would be beneficial but is not essential.
