Job summary

Lloyd Volkswagen in Carlisle is hiring a Service Advisor to join the Aftersales team. The role offers a £28,000 basic salary with OTE £32,000 and hours from 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:30–12:30.

You’ll handle customer interactions, advise on technical queries, schedule work, and process invoices. Ideal candidates will be customer-focused, well-presented, IT literate, and possess a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
• IT literacy; Kerridge knowledge advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Service Advisor to join the Aftersales team at our Lloyd Volkswagen retailer based in Carlisle.

Salary: £28,000 basic OTE £32,000

Hours: 08:00 - 18:00pm Monday - Friday working 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:30 - 12:30

Role Responsibilities

• Dealing with all customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
• Advising on technical queries/issues.
• Booking vehicles into the department for work to be carried out, informing customers of the progress of their vehicle.
• Sell customer repairs/parts etc., and finalising the invoice on completion.

An ideal Service Advisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
• Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Service department.
• Customer relations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be well presented.
• Must be IT literate, and a working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK driving license.
