Job summary

Riverside Motor Group in Hull is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our Volvo dealership. You will assist customers, technicians and service advisors in identifying and sourcing parts, and help keep the parts department running smoothly.

The role offers full-time hours, a competitive rate of pay plus bonus, and opportunities for training and development within the Group. A driving licence is required and previous parts experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers, technicians and service advisors in identifying and sourcing the correct parts.
• Ensure accurate ordering, storage and supply of parts to support workshop operations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of stock levels, orders, and parts movement.
• Provide clear communication regarding parts availability, pricing and alternatives.
• Support service and workshop teams to ensure timely vehicle repairs and servicing.
• Maintain an organised and efficient parts department in line with company standards.

Essentials (You Must Have)

• Experience working as a Parts Advisor or in a similar automotive parts environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• A customer-focused approach with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
