Lithia & Driveway's Audi Fort Lauderdale location is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians. You will initiate service requests, develop estimates, and prepare repair orders while maintaining accurate records.

The role emphasizes clear communication, exceptional customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Prior service-advisor experience is preferred, with a basic mechanical understanding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services by identifying vehicle problems and service requests, verify coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain records.
• Serve as liaison between customer and technician to ensure understanding of needs and recommended services.
• Develop estimates by costing materials and labor, calculating payments and deductibles.
• Prepare RO, obtain approvals, and enter RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional service needs based on vehicle inspection and manage warranty processing for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customers informed of service progress, special offers, and expenses.

About the Role

Audi Fort Lauderdale is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to be the vital link between our customers and our expert technicians. If you're passionate about delivering outstanding service, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are driven by customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• As a Service Advisor you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records.
• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician, and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
