Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Billings is seeking a Service Advisor to join our dealership team. You will initiate automotive services, verify warranty coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and communicate clearly with customers and technicians.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of Service Advisor experience, a basic mechanical understanding, a valid driver's license, and a team-focused attitude.

• 1+ years of previous Service Advisor experience
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage.
• Develop estimates; write repair orders; maintain customer records.
• Communicate between the customer and technician ensuring the technician understands the customer’s needs and the customer understands the needed service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.

Pay: Commission plan with estimated earnings of $60k - $90k annually

Schedule: Ideal candidates must have open availability to work any day/shift.

Department Hours: Monday through Friday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

What You'll Do
