Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
• Ability to work with mechanics and document repairs.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, prepare/process paperwork for vehicle concerns.
• Consult with mechanics on repairs and alternatives to expensive repairs.
• Explain service options and parts to customers.
• Answer questions about service outcomes, scheduling, drop-off and pickup.
• Manage dealership workflow and schedules.
• Call customers to advise about service changes or pickup times.
• Maintain positive relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Ensure all service details and costs are accurately recorded for customers.
• Liaise with technicians about parts ordering and availability.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, prepare/process paperwork to take care of and document vehicle concerns.
• Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
• Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
• Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
• Managing and overseeing the dealership's workflow and schedule.
• Calling customers to advise them about service changes or vehicle pick-up times.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
• Liaising with service technicians about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.

Service Advisor Requirements:

• Customer Service, Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality experience a plus!
