Job summary

Richardson Motors in Dubuque, IA is seeking a customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. This role involves greeting customers, documenting vehicle concerns, and coordinating with mechanics to determine repairs and alternatives.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, preparing and processing paperwork to address vehicle concerns.
• Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and alternatives to expensive repairs.
• Using knowledge of products and services to inform customers about parts and service options.
• Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling, vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
• Managing and overseeing the dealership's workflow and schedule.
• Calling customers to advise them about service changes or pickup times.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Ensuring all service details and costs are correctly documented and payments processed.
• Liaising with service technicians about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, prepare/processpaperwork to take care of and document vehicleconcerns.
• Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
• Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
• Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
• Managing and overseeing the dealership's workflow and schedule.

Service Advisor Requirements:

• Customer Service, Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality experience a plus!
