Job summary

Richardson Motors Corporation is seeking motivated Service Advisors to join a high-performing service team in Dubuque, IA. The role focuses on greeting customers, documenting vehicle concerns, and coordinating with technicians to provide accurate repair options and fair pricing.

You will engage customers with product and service knowledge, schedule appointments, and manage the dealership workflow to ensure smooth operations and positive outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Customer Service, Retail, Restaurant and Hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process paperwork for vehicle concerns.
• Consult with mechanics on repairs and alternatives to avoid costly work.
• Explain products and services and upsell parts and services to customers.
• Answer questions about service outcomes, scheduling, drop-off and pick-up.
• Manage dealership workflow and scheduling to keep the service lane efficient.
• Call customers about service changes or pickup times and confirm appointments.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits.
• Ensure accurate service invoicing and payments are processed smoothly.
• Coordinate with technicians to order and track parts as needed.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers, prepare/processpaperwork to take care of and document vehicleconcerns.
• Consulting with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
• Using your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
• Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
• Managing and overseeing the dealership's workflow and schedule.
• Calling customers to advise them about service changes or vehiclepick-up times.
• Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Ensuring all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing their payments.
• Liaising with service technicians about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed.

Service Advisor Requirements:
