Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Service Advisor to inspect collisions, determine repair scope, and prepare estimates for customers and insurance providers.

You will explain repair steps to customers, coordinate with insurance, perform vehicle check-in, and ensure quality control before delivery to the customer.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive collision estimating experience.
• Experience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferred.
• Proficient with a computer and software.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damage to determine repair scope for body, structural, mechanical or interior.
• Prepare repair estimates for customers.
• Explain repair process to customers and obtain authorization.
• Explain and communicate repair time and updates with the customer.
• Check in vehicles with customers and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform final quality control inspection and deliver repaired vehicle.

Job Summary:Service Advisor is responsible for inspecting and determining repairs needed by visually inspecting a vehicle.Duties/Responsibilities:Examine damage to determine the extent of body, structural, mechanical, or interior damagePrepare estimates to repair vehicleExplain repair process to customersCommunicate with customers insurance related to damages and obtain repair authorizationComplete vehicle check-in with customerExplain and communicate repair process, estimated repair time and any updates with the customerHandle total loss processPerform final Quality Control inspectionUpon completion of repair work, deliver vehicle to customerComply with all TCC’s safety standards, guidelines, and proceduresPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Positive, friendly, and approachable demeanorExemplary customer service skillsExceptional multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational skills.Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsMust be 18 years or olderValid Driver's LicenseEducation and Experience:Prior automotive collision estimating experienceExperience with preparing estimates in CCC One preferredProficient with a computer and softwarePhysical Requirements:Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must be able to lift 10 lbs. regularly.Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level
