Job summary

Levy Restaurants at the Rose Quarter in Portland seeks a Server to greet guests and deliver memorable hospitality during events. You will master the menu, take orders, and run the POS system while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

The role supports a loud, energetic venue and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Prior high-volume or fine dining experience is valued and enhances guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Friendly and energetic individuals ready to create memorable guest moments.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
• 2+ years in high-volume, fine dining style environments preferred.
• Maintain excellent attendance and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests in the venue's dining areas with a smile.
• Know the full menu and products on hand during events.
• Take guest orders for food and beverage quickly and politely.
• Restock stations as needed and operate the POS system for payments.
• Ensure OLCC alcohol service standards and keep areas clean and safe.
• Follow Levy policies and adapt to a fast-paced event setting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Responsible for greeting and serving guests in the venue’s dining areas (with a smile on your face)
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand during event
• Fulfill guest orders for food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
• Re‑stock work stations as necessary
• Operate Point‑of‑Sale system and process payment for purchased food & beverage items
• Ensure compliance with OLCC alcohol service standards
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and restaurants in compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements
• Ensure compliance with Levy standards, policies, and procedures
• Pivot between tasks in a dynamic environment
• Perform any other duties as assigned

• Comfortable operating in a loud, high‑volume atmosphere
• Work both independently and with a team
• Basic PC knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as Point‑of‑Sale systems

• 2+ years of experience working in high volume, fine dining atmosphere preferred
• Maintain excellent attendance and able to work evening/weekend events as scheduled
