The Beverly Hills Hotel is seeking a Lobby Café Server to deliver warm, attentive service across café, tea, coffee, cocktails and light bites in a fast-paced luxury setting.

You will join a historic, award-winning team, uphold our standards, take pride in knowledge of the menu, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure every guest feels welcome.

As a Server at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $23.18 per hour.

What you'll do

A day in the life of a Lobby Café Server demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all the tasks that our Servers accomplish would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.

• Servers maintain an impeccable café floor, greeting guests, taking orders, delivering food, coffee, cocktails and afternoon tea service with care and precision. This includes responding to guest requests and participating in pre-shift briefings to ensure every guest receives nothing but the best experience.
• Our guests come to the Lobby Café to pause and enjoy, and our Servers make that moment count. Whether it's a morning coffee, an afternoon tea, or an evening cocktail, Servers deliver each with warmth and attentiveness.
• The Lobby Café holds itself to a high standard, and our Servers are its first line of defense. They catch what others miss, address it quickly, and work with the team to keep the café running at its best.
• Servers know the menu inside and out, including food allergies. From all-day dining to the afternoon tea program, cocktails and wine list, they share that knowledge naturally, making every guest feel well taken care of.
• Servers are gracious, polished, and genuinely passionate about creating a welcoming space. They represent the Lobby Café and The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, always upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency Servers are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
