As a Host at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $32.40 per hour.

What you'll do

A day in the life of a Host demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all the tasks that Hosts accomplishes would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Hosts are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

• Our Hosts are responsible for getting to know our guests, building relationships and institutional knowledge that elevate every visit. This includes ensuring our guests receive nothing but the best experience across both The Lobby Café and Hotel Bar.
• Our guests often have special requests, and our Hosts are the first to hear them. They anticipate needs, build genuine rapport, and ensure that knowledge is shared seamlessly with the relevant teams before it even needs to be asked.
• Our Hosts greet, escort and seat guests with warmth and intention. They manage reservations across both outlets, conducting confirmation calls, and maintaining the online reservation system with accuracy, adding, modifying, removing, and confirming bookings as needed.
• The Lobby Café and Hotel Bar are world‑class spaces within one of the most iconic hotels in the world. Our Hosts have a sharp eye for anything that falls short of that standard and work closely with the team to address it swiftly.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Hosts liaise across outlets, departments and the extended hotel team to ensure seamless alignment and represent both venues with grace every time they answer the phone in accordance with hotel standards.
• Our Hosts are genuinely passionate about what they do. They represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, always upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.
