The Beverly Hills Hotel, a Dorchester Collection property, is seeking a Supper Club Backserver to join our iconic dining team in Beverly Hills.

You will maintain immaculate tabletops and service stations, assist servers, and ensure a seamless, guest‑focused dining experience while upholding luxury standards.

What you'll do

A day in the life of a Supper Club Backserver demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all the tasks that our Backservers accomplish would be lengthy, but the list below is essential to know.

• Our Backservers are responsible for maintaining immaculate tabletops and service stations at all times, ensuring that linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, condiments and ice are always fully stocked, polished and guest ready. Every detail on the table reflects The Supper Club standards.
• Backservers work closely alongside our Servers, assisting with the running of food and beverages, clearing courses with precision and timing, and ensuring the flow of service remains seamless and uninterrupted throughout the dining experience.
• The Supper Club guests have high expectations, and our Backservers help meet them seamlessly. From preparing coffee and refreshing water to supporting special occasion setups, they anticipate what is needed and deliver it without disrupting the flow of the dining experience.
• Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Backservers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Backservers maintain open communication with the service team and the extended hotel team, ensuring the dining room is always one step ahead.
• Our Backservers are genuinely passionate about what they do. They represent The Beverly Hills Hotel with pride, always upholding the principles, goals and policies of The Beverly Hills Hotel Pledge.

The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, The Supper Club Backservers are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
