Job summary

Oswego Grill in the Portland metro area is seeking motivated restaurant servers for part-time and full-time roles. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, offering menu guidance, wine recommendations, and attentive table service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or restaurant service preferred.
• Ability to explain menu items and dietary options clearly.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Offer expertise in menu and food/beverage recommendations. Explain chef specialties, identify appropriate wines, answer food preparation inquiries.
• Accurately communicate orders to the bar and kitchen, track dietary needs and special requests.
• Showing attentiveness to the guest table by delivering and removing dishes, refilling glasses, fulfilling guest requests.
• Create check, accept payment, and deliver bill with change or credit card.
