Job summary

Oswego Grill in the Portland Metro Area is seeking highly motivated team players for a Host role in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant. This in-person position emphasizes guest satisfaction and efficient seating.

With the company’s growth, there are long-term opportunities and a culture that supports safety, training, and advancement. Shifts include Morning, Afternoon and Evening, with Monday–Friday work and weekend requirements, plus required OLCC and Food Handler certifications.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and guest-relations skills.
• Availability to work mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and exit the restaurant.
• Provide guests with accurate wait time estimates.
• Assist guests with reservations and seating arrangements.
• Present menus and answer questions about offerings.
• Optimize seating to maximize efficiency.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations.
• Process take-out orders.
