Job summary

Soho House in New York City is seeking a Server Captain to supervise the dining team during service and events, educate guests on the menu, manage allergies, and ensure a polished, elevated experience in line with Soho House Service Standards.

You will collaborate with F&B leaders, support onboarding, maintain guest relationships, upsell with pairings, and help the BOH/FOH stay coordinated, while adhering to health, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in leadership on the floor.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and solve problems calmly under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful to guests and colleagues.
• Able to follow the training schedule and Club School.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to take direction and work both in a team and independently.
• Tips certified and POS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as an extension of management by supporting operations/events and reporting staff performance.
• Work with F&B leaders to onboard new team members and optimize on-shift processes.
• Develop professional relationships with coworkers and complete trained process checklists.
• Elevate guest experiences with food/drink pairings and proactive upselling while adhering to Soho House standards.
• Monitor allergies and communicate any risks to management and Executive Chef.
• Complete end-of-shift checkout reports and obtain management sign-off.
• Adhere to health, safety, policies and company guidelines.
