Hudson House in Dallas, TX is seeking a Server Assistant to support our service team and help deliver a welcoming, polished dining experience. You will help maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness, assist servers and bartenders, and anticipate guest needs to ensure comfort and satisfaction.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, guest care, and seamless service from arrival to departure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive, respectful attitude.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• TABC Certification, as required.
• Certified for food and alcohol service as required by State and Local Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Assist servers, bartenders and hosts when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items.
• Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course is complete and accurate.
• Run beverages from the bar to guest tables and ensure beverages are always full.
• Remove used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table.
• Communicate with server, bartenders and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization and guest service.
• Maintain cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
