Hudson House is seeking a Server Assistant to support our service team and maintain a welcoming, pristine dining area. You will assist servers, bartenders and hosts while ensuring guests have a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities include keeping service areas clean, helping guests with orders and ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks. Join Vandelay Companies’ Hudson House for a collaborative, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and work ethic.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• TABC Certification as required by state and Local Agencies.
• Certified for food and alcohol service as required by state and Local Agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Assist servers, bartenders and hosts when needed and understand menu item descriptions.
• Deliver plates from kitchen to tables ensuring accuracy.
• Deliver beverages from bar and keep glasses full.
• Clear dishes between courses and after guests leave.
• Coordinate with staff to optimize seating and guest service.
• Keep tables and chairs clean and reset vacated tables.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
