Hudson House, a Vandelay Companies neighborhood restaurant, is seeking a Server Assistant to support service staff and maintain cleanliness while anticipating guests’ needs. Our team delivers warm hospitality in a fast-paced, welcoming setting.

Candidates should be 18+, fluent in English, detail-oriented and reliable. You may lift up to 50 pounds; TABC and state certifications required or to be obtained. This on-site role offers flexible scheduling and dining benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
• Team-oriented with punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while delivering friendly, professional service.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; customer service mindset a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and service areas.
• Assist servers, bartenders and hosts as needed and know menu items.
• Run food from the kitchen to guest tables after courses are complete.
• Run beverages from the bar to tables and keep drinks refilled.
• Clear used dishes between courses and after guests leave the table.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient seating and guest service.
• Reset vacated tables and maintain orderly service areas.
• Perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards.
• Fulfill other duties as required or assigned.
