San Vicente Clubs is expanding operations and seeking team members to deliver exceptional guest service in a private club setting. The Server Assistant greets guests, takes orders, assists with food and beverage service, and ensures smooth operations during shifts at this luxury venue in New York City.

Candidates should have experience in fine dining, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekends/holidays.

San Vicente Clubs is a prestigious private members-only club originating in West Hollywood, California. Since its 2019 opening, San Vicente Bungalows has established itself as a premier destination for individuals seeking a refined and intimate social experience.

Our exclusive establishment offers an oasis of tranquility, luxury, and personalized service to our esteemed members. Building on the success of the original West Hollywood location San Vicente is expanding to Santa Monica (opening November 2024) and New York City (opening January 2025).

Position Purpose

Responsible for greeting guests, providing excellent guest service upon guest entering food and beverage outlet. The Server Assistant normally works a regular food and beverage shift but may be asked and assigned another shift due to work needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Delivers food and beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with hotel standards.
• Answers all questions regarding the menus accurately.
• Utilizes selling techniques to up sell.
• Acknowledges guest need, anticipates guest needs and always responds promptly to maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Process guest payment by posting on POS system, verifies if guest is in house or walk in patron.
• Informs manager of any guest complaints, requests or problems.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Communicate with in coming/ prior shift as to outstanding tables.
• Reports any damages, discrepancies and or malfunction of equipment to manager.
• Follows all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job.
• Clean and polish silverware, glass ware, sugar receptacle, trays, coffee pots, tea pots.

• Must have previous experience with POS system.
• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be able to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work well under time constraints and remain calm.

Qualifications

• Must be Serve Safe certified, must be Tips Certified.
• Minimum 1 year of hospitality or customer service in a fine dining restaurant preferred.
