Job summary

Omni Hotels in Corpus Christi seeks a professional Server to deliver warm, attentive service and create memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell menu items, and maintain expert knowledge of beverages including wine.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in a high-volume casual setting, weekend and holiday availability, and a polished appearance. You will work with MICROS, coordinate with the kitchen, and support seating and phone coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and anticipate needs; respond to inquiries or requests.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests with a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station setup and breakdown; perform side-work as needed.
• Take orders, upsell where appropriate, and present accurate checks.
• Use MICROS to send orders; coordinate with culinary team on dietary needs and special requests.
• Assist in seating guests and answering restaurant phones when needed.
• Cross-train across other F&B outlets as required.
• Report guest concerns to the Restaurant Manager promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries or requests.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
• Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Polish and clean all water glassware on assigned station during each shift.
• Take food and beverage orders and upsell as often as possible.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtained.
• Send orders using MICROS systems.
• Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allegories, dietary needs and special requests.
• Alert Restaurant Manager immediately if a guest has a suggestion, complaint or issue.
• Present accurate check to guests and process payment.
• Assist in seating guests and answering phones for restaurant as needed.
• Cross train among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
