Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Server to greet guests, take orders, deliver food and drinks, and maintain cleanliness throughout service. You will explain menu items, check guest satisfaction, and handle payments including gratuity while adhering to cash handling policies.

The role includes various shifts, holiday and weekend availability, and potential background/drug screening. MVW provides a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a luxury resort

Qualifications

• Greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and drinks.
• Sets tables ensuring all supplies meet quality standards.
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
• Communicates any meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Explains menu items and specials and checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Presents physical and accurate check and processes payment, including gratuity.

Hourly Rate: $16.00 Hourly Wage: $16.00 + tips $1000 SIGN ON BONUS This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $500 increments at 90 and 180 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made.

As a Server, a typical day will include:

To Become a Server at MVW

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance. Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
