Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Housekeeping Aide to assist in delivering high-quality guest experiences across our resort properties. This role requires weekend and holiday availability and offers a competitive hourly wage with full-time hours, on-site benefits, and opportunities for growth at MVW.

You will work to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet brand standards, respond to guest needs promptly, and collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming environment for Owners

Qualifications

• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Background and drug screening may be required

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to guest requests and coordinates with other departments
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture in rooms as needed
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or rooms
• Maintains inventory of pillows, duvet inserts and toppers
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings and areas daily
• Operates heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors
• Stock linen closets daily with supplies
• Adheres to company standards and safety procedures

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Aide, a typical day will include:

• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
• Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strip trash/dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet extractors, etc.
• Stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies.
• Guest Experience and Company Standards
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

To Become a Housekeeping Aide at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
