Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to support Owners and guests in creating memorable vacation experiences in a friendly, welcoming environment. The role includes promptly responding to guest requests, preparing rooms, and maintaining daily cleanliness across assigned properties.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to guest requests and other departments.
• Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture in guest rooms as requested.
• Identifies and reports maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Strips trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts.
• Ensures correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers in rooms/villas.
• Cleans and maintains assigned buildings/areas daily.
• Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors.
• Stocks linen closets daily with linen and supplies.

As a Housekeeping Aide, a typical day will include:

• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.

To Become a Housekeeping Aide at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
