Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Pool Server to support Owners and guests at our resort. The successful candidate will help deliver memorable vacation experiences, execute service standards, handle payments, and work outdoors in pool and recreation areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Communicates additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Maintains an open line of communication with guests throughout the day to ensure all guest needs are accommodated.
• Follows appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.
• Works outside on the resort pool and recreation areas.
• Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
• Answers questions on menu selections and checks with kitchen staff whenever additional clarification is necessary.
• Processes all payment methods in accordance with Accounting procedures and policies.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $16.00 Hourly Wage: $16 + tips $1000 SIGN ON BONUS This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $500 increments at 30 and 90 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made. As a Pool Server, a typical day will include:

To Become a Pool Server at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
