Job summary

Sesame Bakery by Motek, part of the Happy Corner Hospitality collective, seeks a friendly server to welcome guests, explain the bakery concept, and take orders in a fast-paced Mediterranean bakery environment.

You will learn the menu, suggest beverages, enter orders with Toast POS, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate deliveries and guest satisfaction. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a server role or equivalent experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Experience with Toast POS system preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service in a high-volume dining environment.
• Greet guests promptly, introduce the bakery concept, and manage tables for smooth flow.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and beverage offerings to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders with speed and accuracy.
• Deliver food and drinks with correct presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Anticipate guest needs and multitask across multiple tables.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and work areas during busy shifts.
• Process payments quickly while following cash-handling procedures.

Position Overview

As a server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an amazing dining experience. From introducing our concept to new guests to taking their order and giving recommendations when needed, your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver outstanding dining experiences and keep guests coming back for more.

Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service in a high-volume dining environment.
