We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of SerDes Digital Design to lead the architecture, development, and implementation of the digital subsystem for next-generation SerDes technologies. You will define digital architecture, drive DSP and equalization, calibration, initialization, and control across multiple product generations, and build a high-performing team delivering production-ready silicon with robust

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive digital IC design experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience delivering digital functionality for 100G+ per-lane SerDes PHYs.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture, DSP, calibration, and clocking.
• Leadership of complex RTL development, digital implementation, and silicon delivery.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the digital architecture for next-generation SerDes PHYs, aligning DSP, calibration, initialization, adaptation, and control functions with performance goals.
• Lead the development and integration of DSP and datapath processing for high-speed link performance, including equalization and adaptation algorithms.
• Drive digital calibration and control for analog interfaces, including calibration sequencing and coefficient management.
• Own digital initialization, training, adaptation, and control sequences for robust high-speed links across variations.
• Establish rigorous design and verification practices for reliable silicon bring-up and production readiness.
• Partner with analog, receiver/transmitter, clocking, system architecture, firmware, and silicon validation teams to deliver cohesive SerDes solutions.
