Upscale, Inc. is building a world-class SerDes digital design organization to enable next-generation, ultra-high-speed connectivity for AI data centers.

We seek an experienced Senior Director of SerDes Digital Design to lead the architecture, development, and implementation of the digital subsystem for next-generation SerDes technologies. The SerDes digital subsystem plays a critical role in PHY performance, supporting DSP and equalization, calibration, initialization and adaptation, and control

Formación

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive digital IC design experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience delivering 100G+ per-lane SerDes digital functionality.
• Strong understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture and DSP integration.
• Experience leading RTL development, digital implementation, and silicon delivery.
• Knowledge of design-for-test, timing closure, clock-domain crossing, and low-power design.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive the digital architecture for next-generation SerDes PHYs to meet system goals.
• Lead DSP and signal processing development, including equalization and datapath processing.
• Drive digital calibration, control sequences, and robust initialization and adaptation.
• Own Phy digital initialization, training, and adaptation across process and temperature variations.
• Establish rigorous verification and ensure production-ready silicon deliverables.
• Collaborate with analog, receiver/transmitter, clocking, firmware, and validation teams.
• Lead and grow a high-performing SerDes digital engineering team and roadmap.
