Job summary

Forbes Advisor seeks an experienced SEO Director to lead our Small Business, LLM optimization and growth initiatives, reporting to the VP of Growth. You will guide SEO teams and collaborate with Editorial and Methodology & Testing to develop best-in-class content aimed at ranking in competitive SERPs on Forbes Advisor.

This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, mentoring, and a relentless focus on removing blockers to drive bottom-line revenue while upholding high content

Qualifications

8+ years of SEO experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
In-house SEO experience in publishing or content-focused sites.
Experience designing SEO tests.
Experience with LLM optimization/AEO.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a forward-looking SEO strategy for your verticals.
Mentor and align the SEO team on priorities and delivery.
Design and run tests to optimize for LLMs and AEO.
Create SEO tests to improve performance and CRO in verticals.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to maintain productive workflows.
Generate data to keep content clearly ahead of the competition.
Defend content quality against revenue and productivity pressures.
Identify and remove blockers; drive initiatives to completion.
Increase bottom-line revenue through SEO initiatives.
Rely on publicly defensible white‑hat SEO practices.
