Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Installation & Service Technician for Remote work with full travel, covering West TN and North Memphis. The role pays $25.75–$32.12 per hour, with Day One benefits, paid training, and clear career growth opportunities.

You will install and service retail technology—inventory control, video surveillance, and networking—while training customers and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will have an EL06 license, strong electronics and networking knowledge,

Qualifications

• EL06 License required.
• Strong understanding of electronics and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair inventory control and video surveillance equipment in retail environments.
• Diagnose technical issues and deliver fast, effective solutions.
• Work directly with customers, providing training and support to maximize system performance.
• Manage service calls efficiently while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Maintain parts inventory to maximize first-time fix rates and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and share insights with leadership.
• Represent Johnson Controls with professionalism, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset.
