Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a senior Zero Trust Lead (Network) to own policy, standards, and roadmaps across identity, device posture, network, cloud, and security domains. The role combines hands-on network engineering with cross-tower leadership to ensure secure, tested, and production-ready capabilities.

You will lead design and integration with Palo Alto, Zscaler, Aruba ClearPass NAC, and identity controls while maintaining strong incident response and governance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on enterprise network engineering/operations experience.
• Experience leading Zero Trust design, implementation and operationalization.
• Knowledge of identity, device posture, segmentation, and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own Zero Trust strategy and cross-tower integration model with policy, standards, architecture requirements, and roadmaps.
• Provide hands-on network operations support including Cisco routing/switching and LAN/WAN services.
• Define Zero Trust requirements for firewall controls, ZIA/ZPA, and NAC integrations; lead hands-on engineering when needed.
• Coordinate across Network Operations, IAM, Cloud, Security, and Engineering; drive remediation of integration gaps.
