Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a senior Zero Trust Lead (Network) to drive the Zero Trust strategy across identity, device posture, network, and cloud domains. The role combines hands‑on networking with leadership to align architecture, standards, and roadmaps, ensuring capabilities are tested, documented, and production-ready.

You will coordinate across Network Operations and Security, providing expert guidance, troubleshooting, and integration with Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Aruba technologies.

Qualifications

• Senior-level hands-on enterprise network engineering/operations experience.
• Zero Trust design, implementation, and operations across identity, device posture, network, cloud, and security controls.
• ITIL-based incident/change management experience and ServiceNow proficiency.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and setting technical direction.
• Active directory/identity and device-control technologies familiarity (Okta, MIM, Intune).

Responsibilities

• Own Zero Trust strategy and cross-tower integration model across domains.
• Provide hands-on network operations support with routing, switching, and security tooling.
• Define integration requirements for Palo Alto, Zscaler, and Aruba controls; ensure testing and deployment readiness.
• Lead Zero Trust requirements for identity-aware access and segmentation.
• Coordinate across Network Operations, IAM, Cloud/Infra, and Security to translate requirements into controls.
• Contribute to incident response and long-term remediation of Zero Trust issues.
