Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is seeking a Sr. Group Leader to assist the Branch Manager with daily operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and oversee programs and attendance data at our Escondido site.

You will build relationships with youth and families, support recruitment and retention, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities include leading activities, coordinating services, and stepping in as lead staff for the Core Program when needed, while

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Minimum 48 college units or CAPE.
• 1–3 years' experience with school-aged youth.
• Plan and implement quality youth programs.
• CPR and First Aid within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Stand for five hours daily and perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations and supervise staff/volunteers.
• Develop relationships with youth and families.
• Recruit and retain members; manage program data/outcomes.
• Lead Core Program in absence of Site Supervisor.
• Ensure health, safety, and program protocol adherence.
