Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego is seeking a Senior Group Leader in San Diego, CA. This role focuses on assisting the Branch Manager with daily operations, including supervising staff, implementing programs, and engaging with youth and their families. Candidates should be at least 18 with a High School diploma, some college experience, and have 1-3 years of relevant experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining safety protocols and program effectiveness while fostering positive relationships within the community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years experience working with school-aged youth.
• Ability to lead and manage groups of children in activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and supervision of staff and volunteers.
• Plan and lead programs and activities for youth.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.

Skills

Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth

Effective communication with youth and adults

Knowledge of youth development

Skills for instruction and guidance

CPR and First Aid Certifications

Education

High School diploma or GED required

Some college experience preferred
